The Cloudspire Chronicle!
1 Hahler Cloudspire's Foremost News Authority! ~ est. 908 A.C. 22 Belmus 983
WORLD IN RUIN! SKYREACH NATION A SHINING JEWEL!
Heroes Abound!
by Suban Gordon
If you're one of those people that lives under a rock (no offense, dwarves), then you might not have heard about the folks that stood toe-to-toe with the avatar of destruction and mayhem, the Walking Worm. While a great effort was upheld by all our fine soldiers, and many lives lost, it was a special few that dealt the final blow.
No shortage of accolades and commendations were to be found when we asked those that met the elite champions, now tucked happily up in their new home, the Champion's Hall. Captain Dolkirk of Cloudspire, a favourite foe of mine, was happy to applaud their efforts. The enigmatic Lady Olorion Strongwood of Els refused to comment, though this reporter spotted a sneaking grin creeping across her fair face. For all the fine words and fancy feasts, Commander Gelman of the church of Betri probably said it simply and best. "They did good. They did real good."
As for The Chronicle and the rest of Cloudspire, we would like to openly thank each and every one of the fine heroes who was willing to risk their lives to save our fair kingdom.
You did good. You did real good.
Sad Times for the Peninsula

by Libius Nelo
Hard hit by a series of terrible events, Oiviscal Peninsula will be slow to recover from the tragic recent times. From the rising of the worm, and the disaster left behind, the whole region is in total disarray. Much of what made the free lands beautiful has been ruined, and few of its original inhabitants have returned. Most damning of all, is the varied reports of undead appearing on its eastern shores.
Any parties interested in attempting to stabilize the region are asked to seek out the League of Adventurers.

Goldbloom Clan Rejoices
by Greg Ornmen
Gorm Silversons cousin, Gort Goldbloom Jr. has just returned from the northern jungles with no less than ten ingots of pure mithril. Apparently the Silverson side of the family hid the treasure over a century ago in the elven kingdom. It took the Goldbloom Clan several months to piece the puzzle together from the information they could retrieve. Much to their dismay, a map to the location, recently discovered and lost again, was never recovered.
Goldbloom's Tavern will be having a week long special on their finest ales, in celebration.
Coranis Falls!
by Lavrin Geldatman
The mighty, close-walled kingdom of Coranis has fallen beneath the sway of a murderous lot of otherworldly spawn. In response to the disaster, the Keepers of the Eye have closed off all contact with the nation. A massive church presence, including Eem, Betri and even Wrelon has been desperately trying to ferry citizens out of the war torn country without the aid of the Eye.
Anyone and everyone with a strong sword arm or solid magic sense is asked to lend a hand where they can. Should you travel into the once proud kingdom, you are advised to take weaponry, and be prepared for a fight.
Saw it happen? Tell us about it and we'll pay you!
